Du Bois and neighboring Sandy Township are located just off Interstate 80, between exits 16 and 17. Du Bois is known for the annual Tom Mix festival and also offers a multitude of vacation and recreation destinations within a half hours drive from the center of town. Du Bois also features the tri county area's largest mall and is home to a broad variety of retail establishments as well as a multitude of manufacturers known around the world.
